Goldar barbarian (violence warning)

Posted by Kekso on 22 May 2022, 14:10

Goldar barbarian (Reaper Bones). Poor quality figure but there is no surprise since I've paid it 3,8U$.
But it was good excercise for some techniques (freehand and blood splashes) and I like the result.

Not sure if I should write "I hope you like it" :xd:

Yep, Kekso, I like it
Your reckognizable painting style which won you so many duels…
Concerning violence. Other the blood-dripping axe not really. I see more of an Arnold figure, super athlete, tatooed, sexy, a top model. Without the axe he would go very well with ADM’s top models :-)

Me too, Kekso. It's a figure that is scary, I wouldn't like to find myself in front of him. I especially love the flesh tones with all those tattoos and blood stains. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Yep….. I like him a lot too. Lovely flesh tones, cool tattoos and the blood splatters are most convincing. Perhaps if anything the axe head has a bit too much flesh, along with the blood. Reminds me of Frank Frazetta’s artwork from long ago…..

I totally agree. It was impulsive decision to make it and fast realisation. I think I could do it much better but I wanted to finish this figure as soon as possible.

Don't complain about this figure! I wonder what the figure that had a meeting with the axe would say?

Seems you had a good practice Dali! Like it!

Very good! And the blood? Let's just say that a ketchup bottle exploded on him and that made him a little annoyed?
