The other-worldly beauty of certain Asian Ladies never fails to take the breath away. Even 75mm examples...

All the white metal or resin figures in this display are 75mm, which is nominal 1:24 scale.
If anyone is unfamiliar with this size then these two quick snaps might help. The figure wearing the long blue-colored formal coat (haori 羽織,) over her kimono is 54mm or nominal 1:32 scale.

As you will appreciate, the difference in size is significant in these comparison shots.

I'm dreaming!

Maybe now everybody will understand why I want to do 1/1 bodypainting! And I could paint some kimono's to get something extra!

Peter -- that approach is more likely to get you a slap in the face... :P :P ...I speak from bitter experience...

We recently had an unexpected visit from Wifie's coven of girlfriends who proceeded to invade my man-cave, then began (noisily) oohing & aahing over this particular display. In my innocence, and for the sake of peace & quiet, I allowed one of the ladies to re-arrange some of the figures and add a few from one of my display cabinets. Differences in the scales of the figures didn't appear to be a factor of any kind... :eh:

Harry, I have two jobs here on this forum. Moderating and joking! ;-)

But I understand that some people could take this comment wrong, what isn't my meaning. Bodypainting is also art. ;-)

I was also cracking a joke Peter. That's why I included those emoji's in my response.
