Thorin & sons (Very ancient work)

Posted by Susofrick on 24 Nov 2020, 14:42

Thorin Oakenshield in his older days with his sons Dorin and Darin. :-D Painted a very very long time ago with Humbrol Fantasy Acrylics. Thinking about repainting them, that's the reason they're not with the other Mithril figures, but that is a long way into the future.

No need for repainting if you're ok with how they look now.
And they look good to me

I am think the same, no repaint is needed.

Time has gone, that is your painting of the past.
Sometimes I came across my first Dios from over twenty years, painted with the smelling Humbrol and Revell in the can.

Don`t destroy your memory.

I agree with Dali and Erik! But I don't miss the enamel smell, Erik! ;-)

My earliest works (from the 1980s) do not stack up well to my more recent output, either.

Nice to see there has been some modest improvement.

Leave them like they are, Gunnar. And I like the phrase: "Don`t destroy your memory."
