Thanks, they don`t to my eyes look as good as the larger figures,so I will await the views of my peers before buying them.

Hi,
These are pictures of these paratroopers.
I like them a lot.
They will fit nicely with my current project.
I let you judge for yourself.
Happy weekend.

Thanks very much CPN for the photos. For once in my life I have perfect timing as I have painted up some German Paras, ESCI, in the last week and as soon as these figures hit the States I am getting a set.
It gives me hope the GI's will be usable as well!!!
Thanks again.

An almost perfect 1/32 set of US infantry during the D-Day landings.
Hopefully available soon in 1/72 and acceptable quality as well. ;-)

As always, the picture shows the better 1/32 figures. Lets hope for good quality 1/72 versions of these excellent looking sets! :yeah:

US Infantry (Winter Uniform) Awaiting PSR review. Again in my opinion, excellent poses, but when reduced from 1/32 to 1/72, they seem to be "melting" and with little detail.

Hmmm. Jaques your melting comment seems to be spot on. I wonder why that happens?

Mould shrinking not working as intended, bad photograph, odd plastic color that's hard to take pictures of - so many possible reasons...

On the other hand, started painting the German paras, they are very nice figures in my opinion. Tried to attach a pic but imgur hates me. A sharp blade was an absolute must, but I was happy that the face were not distorted like with Esci, Revell and Italeri when the mould ran in the middle of the face.

Mars, if you are still around, please consider adding extra poses to the boxes - 4 of each pose is enough, and there are so many other options...this set would have greatly benefited from two additional riflemen or an NCO-type figure waving his arms for the others. Really looking forward to getting the FJ heavy weapons and the Americans (both the winter infantry and the other two announced sets).

Zirrian I just recieved my Paratroopers and they meet with my satisfaction. They are for wargaming and not a dioramas so my expectations are lower as far as top quality goes. There is a fair amount of flash on the tires for the gun. I agree with you that there are too many of the same pose in this box. But considering how far the plastic soldier industry has come in my life time I am okay with my purchase.

Good to hear! I'm looking forward to getting them as well, I'm fairly sure they will be able to man some MMGs and AT guns too :)

And finally got imgur working - hopefully you don't mind, but a picture of the two duplicate poses I'm working on - they look the part, a bit stiffer than others (but I think only these two poses, the rest like the grenade thrower and runner are very nicely animated), but once flash is carefully cut away, they are very nice. So kudos to Mars for their notable improvement in the last few years, hope many more sets like these will come!

I liked the Mars US Paratroopers very much even if they are on the small side, 21mm, but work with my Airfix Paratroopers really well. Mars is heading in the right direction finally!

I like how the paratroopers clothes are nice and baggy like the real thing.

For the most part I can only agree with the review, we are left wishing ,if only. The Bar gunner thing is subjective being a lefty myself , doing things right handed is like asking a right handed person to do things left handed, so if you are a lefty you are going to use the weapon that way, you shoot straight ,load quicker etc, so the pose works fine for me.
