Were there a lot of bayonet charges in the Western Desert campaign?

Infantry advancing on foot, would be bayonets fixed, always with the 8th Army. There are lots of recorded examples of positions being cleared with bayonet and grenade . I recently read ( in the last year ) Battalion , a book written within weeks of wars end covering a battalion of the Seaforth highlanders war 42/45, in it were numerous examples of advancing in the desert bayonets fixed and clearing Axis positions that way.

Guess it will contain ML 3-inch mortars & Vickers machine guns?

Maybe one of the Mods can integrate this into my earlier posting today?

M158 - WWII 2,8cm schwere Panzerbüchse 41 with Afrika Korps crew
Only 8, but mostly useful looking poses. Guess the set will contain 3 to 4 sprues & guns.
Bit strange that the actual support weapons have repeatedly not been part of the respective previews? :eh:

Good evening,
My humble analysis based on previous teasers and products:
These are the Russian Jagers in winter even if the Jagers never had flags.
The other ones are Napoleonic Bavarian in square.
For WSS, I have no clue.
Cheers.

Looking at the first WoSS figure this could be a Spanish grenadier. the other two are pretty generic. So perhaps Spanish Line infantry?

For some reason one of them reminds me of Atlantic! Great to see and one must try to be strong to not start with a new era!
