I'm shocked and very sad...
Another member of our model-making family has left us.
My sincere condolences to his family and his friends.

Sometimes you think that today's times only deliver bad news. But death is part of life - and sooner or later it will overtake each of us. Then, one day, we'll all sit together in a large model building walhalla and sculpt and paint and build dioramas. Amos went ahead. Let us keep his memory while we are still on earth.

I was away for some short period and this sad news is real shock.
I never had a chance to enjoy Speira figures although I planned to get some.
Rest in peace dear friend.

What a sad news!
I remember we discussed the possibility of 3D printing usage for our hobby and for figures.
And Amos become a real enthusiast and really one of the pioneers of this approach! A lot of ideas, a lot of plans... It's a real big loss for our hobby.
And of course, it’s not even necessary to say that he was a very kind and very responsive person.

My sincere condolences to his family and his friends.
Rest in peace, friend.

... it was so sad and surprising that I've not returned here since he's passed away ...

Anyway ... the show must go on.
RIP Traveller, you made me a 3D lover. Thanks.

I completely oversaw this terrible and very sad news. Even feel ashamed a bit. I visit this forum quite a few times a day...
This is not a good way to start Christmas. But way more sad for his family and friends. Young, active and full plans, as it is said before.
I’m quite overwhelmed now.

Amos would have wanted us all to keep moving forward. And it seems that Speira Miniatures may continue on, even without Amos. I will always think of him when I look at those great figures of his.

I guess the shop will go on, when I spoke to his compagnon last week he just shut down the webshop for the time beeing.
Because we both heard the news, and still in shock, the webshop is/was a concern for later.
If there will be some news, I will let you know.
