Hello all
I would like to show you my first work of the new year. At the moment I am working on 2 projects at the same time, which I don't like to do. I'm working on the figures that ended up in the ‘Prepared’ tin and on a T34 project. I only have to work on the base.
The figures are already finished. The ‘Prepared’ figures are dead men from the Imex set German Infantry and various Zvezda sets that I have had for a long time. The figures of the Russian aircraft maintenance I have converted to German armoured personnel.
Have fun looking at the pictures.

Great job. Nice conversions too. Never enough wounded or kaput figures in 1/72 scale. Happy modeling.

I like to paint a group of figures every now and then between projects.

Hello everyone.
I bought a couple of Mirage 3D figures a while ago. Now I finally had time for them. It's the German Assault Group set. There are light and shadow effects. Removing the sprues was easy. Just be careful with the sensitive parts, e.g., the carbine barrel.
Mine broke off right away. More on that later. The tanks are fine, but I haven't found a use for the two with the pistols yet. The details are nicely worked out with medals. That makes painting easier. The folds are a bit washed out and limp.
Infantry.
Nice figures for 1:72 scale. Same weak drapery on the clothing. But: All items are only carried by the belt. The belt carrier is missing. The rifle strap is also missing from the carbine. I replaced the broken barrel with a new carbine from Preiser. I used the Preiser part.
Cut off above the fist, drilled a hole, and inserted about 60% of the Preiser part. The strap was glued on using 2mm wide thin aluminum foil. The carrying frame is only painted. No chin straps on the helmets. But they are included with the helmets in the accessories. Here even with the leather insert in the helmet. The canisters are good, as are the hand grenade cases.

Here are a few more figures I haven't shown you yet. They're all customized figures.
I made them in 2025. I still have a set of finished figures from last week. But take a look at these first. I'd appreciate any feedback—whether positive or negative—
because that's the only way I can improve.

The conversion king, Egbert, manages through head swaps to bring his figures to life.

Personally, I feel that it is the faces that benefit our figures the best.
