Those figures look really good, both the sculpting itself and the way you've painted them!
I always love to see some rather unusual stuff, from the periods that are not as popular as Roman Empire, WWII or Napoleon. And it is also nice to have a complete scenery, figures plus buildings.

It's a fantastic diorama, Stéphane. The scenery is incredible, as is the excellent painjob you have applied to those unknown (to me) Mycenaean figures.

And this particular scene brings back great memories of the only time I have been to the ruins of Mycenae, many years ago. Although it was forbidden, I took advantage of the fact that no one was watching and climbed up to the lintel of the Lions' Gate so that my wife could take a photo of me, which, by the way, I don't know where it's now.

It's true that I haven't been to Mycenae yet but it's one of my projects...

I discovered these figurines while surfing the net. I'm very happy with it. The only criticism I could make of them is the size of the lances which seems too big in diameter to me. otherwise, it's true that for this period, there isn't much choice...
All the figurines are almost the same "brand". Like this I solved the problem of the lances. They are all the same.
scropha makes other figurines that I will definitely buy...

Wonderful work, Stéphane,
I discover these Scropha figures - very nice. A bit stocky, but many new options and great poses. We are all used to Greek statues with "perfect" proportions
I like the diorama and your painting very much. Just a bit surprised about the "bronze" armours which you present more in a copper tone. Quite unusual to me. Any reasoning?

Thanks Santi for the photo. When I found these figurines, I immediately saw the lion gate...in photo. You're lucky you actually saw it.

Yes, I'm also happy to have discovered this range of figurines. as you say, a little chunky but new for this period. For the bronze color I didn't want to make it too light and recall the color of the main metal, copper Cu. After all, it all depends on the proportion of tin Sn which is added. above 10 percent the color really changes from copper.

It is an superb work again, Stephane. And like Santi, I stood ages ago in front of this gate and was impressed by this historical place. The The Mycenaean army is on my list for a long time since I would like to build a DBA army to deal with Troy.

The figures are new to me but they are good looking!
