Plastic Soldier Company Winterworkshop

Posted by MABO on 19 Jan 2023, 21:35

Here are some AFV from Plastic Soldier Company I have built during the Christmas season this year.

They are for the Normandie Campaign mostly.

The three SdKfz 250 are from the reconnaissance company of a Panzer Div.

Two Pz.IV from different Pz.Div.

And two lorries. I would like to built a "Maultier" for Normandie since I saw it in the Overlord Museum. Loads are from Sgts'Mess.

And last but not least: Another Panther for the "Battle of the Bulge" from the 116th "Windhund" Pz.Div.

Feel free to comment. I hope you like them a bit.

Nice job on the paint and weathering. As a kid I had several hundred Roco models and sadly gave them away, now I wish I had them back. Those were the days when you could buy a Tiger 1 for about a buck and half if I remember right. Every week I'd dash to the hobby store and grab a couple more. Bolt action looks to be quite fun though I have neither the time nor money to build armies from WW 2. Great stuff Mabo. Do post pics if you have a jagdpanzer, they have long been my favorite. Hetzers too, that extreme low profile must have been a total bitch to target.
Cheers,

Hello David, thanks for you post. Those two AFVs I have still in the box but not built yet. But I think I will post them here, when I have finished them some day.

A fine paint job on these PSC models, very nice!

I like the muted tones of the base colour you have used, which looks darker than some Dunkel Gelb colours I have seen. What colour have you used on these?

Wow, really an impressive army!
You were fast to satisfy my curiosity. I like your vehicles and convincing painting style. Your vehicles are very realistic. More of it .... will the soldiers follow?

Thank you again for the friendly commentaires. I have painted a few figures as well but didn't take photos. Maybe next month because they are stored in the basement actually.

Thanks as well. Don't be so negative concerning your work. I would be interested to see them. And it took me years and a lot of tries to reach a level that is okay but there is still a lot more to invent. And it also depends on the level of details the model offers.

I really like these, Jan, especially the sdkfz. 250’s (so much cuter than the 251’s) and the trucks. Great weathering.
