You have painted very beautiful and suitable figures. The tower is also convincing, I particularly like the overall creation. Unfortunately I can not give any information about the accuracy. You don't paint in my era.

I watched this thread in the Work In Progress section, but missed it in the Gallery one, and only thanks to your warning I have been able to see it now. You posted it around the time I was in London for my daughter's graduation and when I got back there were a bunch of new threads ahead of yours so I couldn't see it.

You have achieved a fantastic composition. The watchtower is a wonderful piece and the masterly painted romans fit very well with it. :love: :love: :love:
