Marvellous as always.

I personally like flags to be draped as I feel a force ten gale is not realistic proposition.

When gluing the flag together I mould it into the desired position and the drying glue does the rest.

Best wishes,

Chris

More fine figures.

It's only a personal observation, but I'm not sure that I go with the use of the same pose all in the same rank here. Linear infantry formations are more C18th than C17th, and mixing up the poses in the different ranks kind of 'works' for me in this period. Only very highly-drilled infantry would be able to 'schieve' what is depicted here.

You have shown splendidly with your Imperial infantry firing line what can be done by mixing up makes and poses, so I'm just wondering a bit why you have not done it here too?

I'm also wondering whether the universal uniform blue is authentic for Bohemian Infantry. The appearance of this massed formation reminds me of the famous Swedish 'Blue Brigade' somewhat??

But whatever the case, nicely presented and photographed figures.

PS: I also have a 'problem' with using the bare-headed Revell Swedish musketeer with clubbed musket....More a figure for conversion to a casualty maybe...a danger if placed behind ranks ahead of him, but in my book a wasted pose anyway in the otherwise very fine Revell Swedish TYW infantry set....
