Lybia 2011 city of Sirte district 2

Posted by praga on 08 Apr 2021, 14:27

The two Toyota Landcruiser pickups and the ZPU Flak are from 3R Models.
The two prisoners and the driver of the white Toyota are soft plastic figures, but I rebuilt and adapted them. The kneeling figure and the figure lying under the car are also soft plastic figures.
The six other figures and the Duschka MG are made of resin by AlexMiniatures from Moscow.
The house is a 3D print from China.
Everything fitted into a picture frame as always. The only thing missing is the "name tag" on the frame.

Regards, Jens Hilgraf

An actual theme.

Lots of figure are used. I like the one who step out of the truck.
And the engine repair scene.
Missing only the TOYOTA or ISUZU at the front grill.
And the transformed Airfix Africa corps soldier not to forget.

Here we can see some pictures of the daily TV news.
That is for sure not a Diorama!

:yeah:

Great diorama! It seems to me that I will never decide on such a large-scale project.

Very nice indeed and the Afrika Korps conversion is lovely.

I personally would not fancy my chances with that lot.

There is a real menacing atmosphere on display here in my opinion.

Great stuff.

Best wishes,

Chris

Perfect diorama! The grade of detail is stunning and the interaction between the figures is perfect. I like the look of the fighting vehicles.

Thanks Oleg - but it is only 12cm x 17cm in size, I don't build much bigger anymore. I (for myself) like little dios with a lot of life on them.

Thanks to all others for the compliments - I was very pleased. :-D :-D

:yeah: :yeah: That is a very nice diorama! What I like especially is the interaction between the figures - they are very believable and unstilted. And of course, the conversions are great.

Wonderful! I would buy in heartbeat a modern set of "Lybian War". Tremendously realistic.
