DBA Sea People against Egyptians

Posted by MABO on 26 Aug 2022, 21:08

After a long time, Mr. Andrea and I were finally able to meet again to play DBA. And of course he brought his fantastically painted Sea People into the field against my Egyptian Army, which has already been presented here.

Please note the Christmas trees on the table
And might the wounded warrior be a sign for the outcome???? :merrychristmas:

We both could make a litoral landing, which resulted in a direct clash. But my archers are to week to fight the blades from the Sea Peoples army so th first Egyptian unit has to Anubis.

But nothing is lost yet!

The troops are advancing, but no orderly battle line can be established on either side, and so after two rounds the battlefield looks like a fight of everyone against everyone else.

In the melees my archers can do nothing and at the same time Mr. Andrea manages to destroy a unit of spearmen and then also a chariot.

Ramses is slowly getting nervous...

And rightly so, because even if the brave Egyptians manage to finish off one unit of the Sea People, a quick manoeuvre also causes a light unit to fall and the game is over.

Total defeat for Egypt! :eh: :affraid:

Great report, beautifully supported with photos of the troops.
Can I ask how long a game goes for?

The first game took round about 45 min, as far as I remember, but do not miss the report of the revenge!

The first game was pretty quick. I am sure the Egyptians were slaughtered in less than 45 minutes ahahahahaha. A 5 to 1 final score, almost a massacre.

Thanks for sharing the report of your game, dear MABO.
You are right, it caught my eye too that Mr. Andrea's Sea People are extraordinarily wellpainted with an effective ink technique and so are the bases of his gaming elements.
Well done Mr. Andrea.
