This was again a fun duel, manly because the figures turned out so different. The winner is Deon, who was up against emperor. I guess the quality of the pictures did cost some points. And the stripes on the trouser did earn extra points.
But as said, a fun duel!
Thanks for duelling, great job by both of you
Thanks for the members who did give there votes!

To both, thanks for dueling!

To Deon--have you converted a Prussian infantryman into a salty pirate? If so, good show. Maybe you could have supplied a hint to his identity in the title.

To emporer--I liked your choice of colors. Just thin them down a tad so you don't drown the details of the figure. As for your photographs, I suggest you shine a bit more light on the figure.

It stung when I lost my first few duels, but it also inspired me to improve my entries. I hope to see more of your work going forward.

A prussian infantry duel without a hint of Prussian blue. Instead we got two very colourful, out of the ordinary figures which was great. Thanks for dueling.

I wondered if Deon's figure was for the Haitian Revolt or something similar. If so I thought that was a very good idea.
