Times of Conclave and Cardinals

Posted by Santi Pérez on 08 May 2025, 12:01

Taking advantage of the fact that we are living in times of Conclave, I bring these pictures of my unfinished diorama ‘Swiss Guard, Pope and Cardinals’, with the procession of the six cardinals that will appear in it and that I have already finished. :-)

I hope that my current housing situation will be solved once and for all and that I will be able to finish this project, which is on its way to becoming eternal. :(

Let us hope that the Holy Spirit will inspire the cardinals so that the Pope they choose will be the best possible. ;-)

You see, Donald, who would have thought that just a few hours after this post the new Pope would be elected?

Enrico, I think that the Pope figure I have prepared is valid for both Francis and Leo XIV, on this scale it seems to me that the differences are minimal.

Thank you so much for your well wishes, Rich. I really miss being able to paint. Thank goodness I can at least convert and prepare figures, so I can have new material ready for when my situation returns to normal. ;-)
