UK hobby shops accepting cheques?

Can you recommend any UK hobby shop that accepts cheques?

I am in the strange situation where I have a couple of hundred GBP to spend, but only as a cheque, so my first idea was to spend it in the hobby of course , but I need to find a trusted (as a cheque is not a very safe way to pay) shop that accepts them. I've asked DrumAndFlag but he doesn't, and Modelhobbies hasn't replied to my query after a week.
