Excellent painting Iceman. You have a very effective and unique style which is no small feat. I'm sure this is the product of years of dedicated work.

Very impressive progress Iceman 1964 (that's actually my year of birth, also your?)
The civilians look very good. I wish Strelets would come up with more civilians 16 and early 17 century in the frame of their WSS range.
The tower and actually the whole scene has some "romantic" feel to it.
Cheers
Michael

The diorama gets better and better as you add more elements to it, Iceman1964. Go on with it!

The method of painting and superb standard of the same really, in my opinion suits the ‘feel’ of the period.

The drab civilian clothes, the misery of the time and those wonderful eyes ( congratulations) are really reflected well.

Best wishes,

Chris

Very impressive indeed. I am looking forward to see the whole scene. What did you use for the plants?

Thanks all of you !
Robert, yes we are same age, 1964, the last year of the baby boomers :-D

Mabo, the high tree is bought (product for train dioramas), the bush and the creepers are a mix of lichens and moss, glued with vinilic and painted with acrilics.

I'm also a baby boomer, but a little older than you, I'm from the fantastic vintage of 1962.

Vintage 1959. Feels strange being one of the older people.
