Green Knight

Posted by steve_pickstock on 03 Oct 2021, 18:54

Yes, yes - I know, I get easily distracted.

So Mrs Pickers and I sat and watched The Green Knight last night. I have been waiting to see this for a while and it is an impressive film.

Dev Patel does a great job, there are some great effects and the sound track is very good too.

The film possibly loses itself a bit in the middle but I would not say don't watch it, it was well worth effort.

So knowing I was going to see it, I got to thinking about the Green Knight story, and though 'How would I do one?'

Well, a couple of hours work, loads of different greens, and voila.

There is a little chip on the front leg - need to touch that up, but I am so pleased with that shield, it's based on one of my favourite t-shirts

I will tidy up the base and post it when done.
Not sure what I am going to use it for though.

I love your Green Knight. You have captured the legendary spirit of the character.

I want to see the film, badly. But they said it is better to see it in a theater.

Nice idea and that's a very good looking figure.

I absolutely love the shield; I showed it to my Green Man:

I think he approves.

Splendid! As others have said, the shield is excellent, and the many shades of green work very well. I'd say this represents a couple of hours well spent...Well done!

Mmm, Steve, you will have to tell me sometime where you find the time and energy to carry out so many projects at the same time and with such excellent results.

Best regards.

Santi.

The truth is my dear friends, that Steve had no other colors left to paint this knight! He used the red and blue for the musketeers!

But it is excellent painted Steve!

I hadn't heard of this film, but the trailer looks very interesting. In any case, your figure is great again.

I quite liked the film, very different from the usual offerings available at the cinema. I love how your figure has turned out, with the green shading on the horse seeming almost like from a picture book, very lovely!
