Yassu Kostis.

I am not religious but there is a definite atmosphere generated here.

Super, muted painting and a feeling a of sadness.

Best wishes,

Chris

Wonderful Kostis!!!
The painting of the figures looks as if they were made by an old classical artist.
The transitions of the colors are incredibly harmonious and soft!
Fantastic!

Tastes very good! The look of them reminds me in some religious oil-paintings. Can´t wait to see the dio!

Indeed your beautiful style of painting is reminiscent to end of 19th century neo-gothic Roman-Catholic religious art. Very nice.

Fine and expressive work. You have managed to capture the expression on Jesus' face, which shows more patience (of the one who has not been understood in his mesage)
than resignation. Not easy to work and paint a face like that. The other figure is also great!.
Excellent "unsuccesfull" work.

Reverent depiction Kostis. Can we have the Garden of Gethsemene dio by Good Friday, 2022?

These are lovely Kostis! I think these figures would overwhelm any diorama. I don't know how to put it in words but the emotion is there in Christ and the other figure. I think Mr D is right the sadness is there but the blue you chose somehow elicits hope to counterbalance that. The addition of a bare minimum of objects would make a great vignette using these figures. Think in symbolism and I'm sure you can find the appropriate backdrops.

A superb composition. As many have already said, I think the painting is marvellous, and the quiet sadness of the scene is very well done.
