That Pharisee is brimming with the righteous anger seen when the rich and powerful see a threat to their position and privilege.

Can't wait to see him painted.

They look very nice indeed.

As Mr Blueflachion states, that face is a work of indignation, anger and beauty all at once.

Best wishes,

Chris

I think Kostis have done some work on existing figures. I think I recognize them from sets I have or have seen. Valdemar and Nikolai medievals. Anyhow, Kostis is doing great work!

I'm not good at keeping up with WIP's and late to this thread, but the painting is excellent, and the figures have just the right amount of restraint and pathos. I agree with others that the palette really suits the subject - subtle and subdued. Well done!

It appears to me that the picture above is the moment when Judas is paid his 30 pcs of silver to betray his leader.

The angry Pharisee could be pointing to the spot they want the arrest to be conducted.

Also, it is extremely well done.

Very impressive Kostis. Also the groundwork is very good. I am following this project, as you know and I am looking forward to the next steps.

And, you should realize, MABO is a master of groundwork. If MABO says your groundwork is good, it is.
