Where can I get transparent/clear plastic sheets?

Posted by Hobbyinovator on 12 Apr 2021, 20:59

Anyone knows any store that sells a wider collection of transparent/clear plastic sheets? Preferable within EU. On Evergreens homepage they have a very limited amount of sheets, only three types that are way to thick for what I'm looking for. Is there anyone who sells clear plastic sheets that is as varied in in size as Evergreens other products?

Not sure, sorry, but you could check non-hobby stores.

I would try a paper shop. Maybe they have an old stock of those plastic sleeves they used for presentations for projection on a wall or screen.

Search ebay for clear polystyrene sheets and you should find a range of sizes and thicknesses available. Polystyrene is what works with normal plastic kit adhesive and fogs nicely when you get the adhesive in the wrong place. There are other types of clear plastic available with different properties depending on how you want to use it.

Thanks for the advice. It turned out I actually had a clear sheet lying around in my bookshelft that I had forgotten about. 197X320X1mm. Made by Raboesch Super Sheets. But I'll probably will have to order more in the future.
